The village primary school has approximately 200 students, and boasts fantastic resources, including their own Forest School and all-weather running track. They also have large, welcoming classrooms, a well-stocked library, computer suite, canteen and sports hall.

The school is supported by the Friends of Lower Halstow School, who hold regular event and work with the local community to raise funds for the benefit of the pupils.
