Kent County Council works. KENT COUNTY COUNCIL Basser Hill, Lower Halstow (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025 Kent County Council works. To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Basser Hill, Lower Halstow. A closure is planned from 9th June 2025, with estimated completion by 15th June 2025, or where stated on a valid Permit (GE70711318886-02 - Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on O ne.Network Basser Hill will be closed in its entirety, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Kent County Council. The alternative route for any through traffic is via School Lane, The Street, Sheppey Way, Old Ferry Road, Raspberry Hill Lane and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
